MEDITERRANEO
opened in December of 1995, is located at the bottom of
Greenwich Avenue, at what is currently referred to as
the "hot" end of the avenue, between two movie
theaters and a walking distance from the train. The cuisine
incorporates the culinary influences of the countries
that encompass the Mediterranean Sea-North Africa, Morocco,
Greece, Southern France, Italy and the Middle East. Executive
Chef Albert DeAngelis preside over Mediterraneo, which
earned a "Very Good" from the New York Times.
